Accounting Management for PM2000 Property Management

Property Management Financials Managers, Owners and CPA's can count on

The PM2000 system is uniquely equipped to help property managers of all types consolidate management and accounting processes into a single, easy-to-use system.  Fully integrating with Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200's standard accounting modules provides managers with a single point of entry for tenant billing and receipts, as well as accounts payable centered expenses with full integration for CAM/Reimbursement transactions.

Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200's General Ledger Module

Integration with MAS ERP’s General Ledger module provides users with unprecedented financial accounting for their properties.  The adaptable design of the General ledger module makes it an excellent fit for any management type.  There are virtually unlimited options for financial reporting as well.  In addition to the standard General ledger module reports, users have the ability to create their own financial statements through an easy-to-use wizard.

Advantages:

  • Fully integrated with the Property Management system - no more journal entries!
  • Financial Report through standard MAS 90, fully customizable
  • Consolidated financials (over multiple MAS 90 companies) easily accessible through the FRx reporting tool

Cash Basis Financials

PM2000 further enhances MAS 90’s powerful accounting by adding the ability to operate Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable on Cash Basis.  This option provides users with the unique ability to generate and update invoices in either module, track A/R Invoices to Tenants and A/P invoices to tenants, view reports and statements showing outstanding invoices, but not actually affect the General Ledger.  Revenue and expenses are only recorded when cash receipts or cash disbursements are processed.

Advantages:

  • Full receivables and payables tracking and reporting
  • No Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable account postings
  • Cash Basis General Ledger for easy tracking of actual revenues received and expenses paid

General Ledger Translation

MAS ERP’s flexible General Ledger module makes it possible for PM2000 to provide automatic General Ledger account translation (to sub-accounts) for Property and Unit level transactions. Once a specific General Ledger account segment is associated with a Property or Unit, all transactions that reference that Property or Unit – revenue and expense postings – will be automatically translated.

Advantages:

  • Check the financial health of individual properties and units by printing full profit and loss statements.
  • Keep property financials separate in companies with multiple properties maintained.
  • See the profitability of individual units by tracking transactions to the unit level.

Multi-Company Processing

PM2000's suite of Multi-Company add-ons helps managers with multiple MAS ERP companies handle financial transactions efficiently through an agent company.  For more information about these modules see the links below:
