Multi-Company Accounts Payable for PM2000
Inter-Company Accounts Payable, centralized accounting and accountability.
Multi-Company Accounts Payable for PM2000 allows Accounts Payable Invoices and Manual Checks to be recorded to different Companies. The system provides accounting for Due From in the Agent Company and Due To liability postings in the Subsidiary Company. Invoices recorded from an Agent Company allow postings to Subsidiary Company Expenses, Tenant Refunds, Tenant Pass-Thru Charges, CAM Charges, and Property and Unit history.

Unlimited Agent Companies: Any company can be setup as an "Agent" or paying company. Turn Mullti-Company A/P on and off in each company. Users are able to distribute the lines of Invoices and Manual Checks to any number of companies and select the company's G/L Accounts, Item Codes, Properties and Units, Leases and Allocation Codes. The system will automatically handle all property and unit account translation as setup in the subsidiary company.
Accurate and Fast General Ledger Accounting for Properties and Units: PM2000 Transaction Codes select the right G/L Accounts for entries and automatically selects and translates the sub-G/L Accounts for Properties and Units. This improves speed of data entry and the accuracy of accounts for Properties and Units. Multi-Company Accounts Payable provides the right G/L accounts for Agent and Subsidary company Properties and Units.
Accurate CAM for Properties and Units: CAM selected entries in Accounts Payable automatically flow to the PM2000 CAM system. There is no double keying, improving accuracy and detail. CAM setup in each Lease designates the appropriate CAM handling.
Postings System will use the Due From and Due To G/L Accounts for Agents and Subsiary Companies.
In this example, the invoice total is credited to Agent's Accounts Payable account and debited the Due From account designated for the Subsidiary Company. In the Subsidiary Company, the expense account is debited and the Due To the Agent account is credited.
