Auto-Generate Work Order from Sales Orders
ACS Manufacturing Efficiency can help you streamline the Work Order creation process in two ways. The system intelligently helps users create new work orders directly from the Sales Orders already entered into MAS 90. Specialized handling is available for the summary of like items from multiple sales orders to a single work order and the automatic creation of sub-assemblies. This also allows the Sales Orders to be directly linked to the Work Order creating items for them for easy reference.
In addition, manually entered orders can be entered with a Released status and specific options can be setup to Auto Finish Work Order Entry—completing the Operation and Schedule tabs automatically.
Streamlined Work Order Processing
Work Order processing can be a lengthy process, so WOEP provides automation tools and tracking to keep it simple.
ACS Manufacturing Efficiency provides special Picking Sheets for work orders, to help pickers pick efficiently. In addition, when reviewing inventory availability, “On W/O” and “Req’d for W/O” are tracked separately.
The system can also automatically generate Material Issue and Labor transactions, allowing the Work Order number to be updated to history for quick reference.
Streamlined Work Order Completion
Once a Work Order is fulfilled, users have the ability to not only complete, but also close the Work Order in one process.
